The re-birth of the East African urban music arena — music filled with percussion, a cappella and acoustic blends coupled with the contemporary Afro-urban mix — help set the pace for K-G's future.

With global inspiration from Papa Wemba, Lucky Dube, Bob Marley, Seal, Wyclef Jean and later on the Dave Matthews Band and an Afro-urban heritage in the United States, K-G brings to the forefront a genuine inclination to positive vibrations.

The story is not only for K-G, but is also a beacon of hope to East Africa's urban, destitute youth engulfed in crime and poverty, a breakthrough beyond their plight to make a living out of music in a Third World region where jobs are limited. Another way to make an honest living.
